.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Prepare and maintain reporting packages, variance analyses, and supporting documentation for executive leadership, private equity ownership, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
- Calculate, review, reconcile, and analyze sales commissions and incentive compensation programs, ensuring accurate payments, proper accruals, and compliance with approved compensation plans.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Assist with year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
- Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
- Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
- Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of the organization
- Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
- Experience with other financial systems, NetSuite experience preferred
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects
- Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- FX experience; foreign exchange
- Detailed and accurate data entry
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, with significant experience in MS Excel
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
