Job Overview:

This role reports directly to the Senior Accounting Manager, and will have a focus on ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of financial statements and reporting

.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Prepare and maintain reporting packages, variance analyses, and supporting documentation for executive leadership, private equity ownership, lenders, and other key stakeholders.
  • Calculate, review, reconcile, and analyze sales commissions and incentive compensation programs, ensuring accurate payments, proper accruals, and compliance with approved compensation plans.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
  • Assist with year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit
  • Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
  • Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
  • Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all level of the organization
  • Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
  • Experience with other financial systems, NetSuite experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects
  • Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • FX experience; foreign exchange
  • Detailed and accurate data entry
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat, with significant experience in MS Excel

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
