Job Overview:
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and managing inventory levels within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and operational effectiveness. This role partners closely with the Warehouse Manager to implement inventory strategies, maintain control processes, and continuously improve inventory performance.
In addition, this position oversees the kitting operation and manages inventory balance associated with key accounts, ensuring alignment between system inventory and physical stock.
The Inventory Supervisor leads the inventory team to achieve company objectives related to inventory control, accuracy, and compliance, while promoting a safe, organized, and high-performing work environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all inventory control activities, including cycle counts, bin transfers, and reconciliation processes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS)
  • Develop, implement, and improve inventory management procedures to ensure optimal stock levels and accuracy
  • Lead and oversee the kitting operation, ensuring timely and accurate kit assembly aligned with production and customer requirements
  • Monitor and manage stock balance for key programs/accounts ensuring alignment between system inventory and physical inventory
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to kitting, outbound fulfillment, and account-specific inventory variances
  • Train, coach, and support team members on inventory processes, systems, and best practices
  • Monitor inventory discrepancies and report damages, vendor compliance issues, and stock variances to management
  • Ensure all inventory operations are performed in compliance with company policies and safety standards
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (receiving, picking, packing, kitting, and shipping) to maintain efficient workflow
  • Safely operate warehouse equipment when trained and certified
  • Support operational tasks such as palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and material movement when needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Enforce company attendance, safety, and performance standards
  • Assign tasks, prioritize workload, and ensure team productivity aligns with operational goals
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to management

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in inventory control within a warehouse environment
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish REQUIRED
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience using a WMS (NetSuite and RF Smart experience preferred)
  • At least 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
  • Experience supporting kitting operations and account-specific inventory programs preferred
  • Strong knowledge of inventory processes (cycle counts, reconciliation, stock control)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
  • Forklift certified and experienced with stand-up reach equipment
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
