Job Overview:
The Account Manager, Inside Sales & Sustainable Promotional Products role is responsible for managing inbound customer inquiries, processing orders, preparing quotes, coordinating product samples, and providing exceptional customer service. This is an eCommerce-based sales position with no cold calling required.
The ideal candidate has a background in customer service or inside sales and is passionate about helping customers select promotional products that align with their branding, budget, and sustainability goals. Success in this role is built on developing strong customer relationships, expanding a book of business, and becoming a trusted resource on responsible sourcing, ethical manufacturing, and environmentally friendly promotional products.
The successful candidate is passionate about environmental sustainability and reducing waste, enjoys learning about sustainable materials and ethical sourcing practices, and is excited to help customers make purchasing decisions that reflect their values. They are comfortable discussing sustainability initiatives with confidence and authenticity and believe businesses can create positive environmental and social impact through responsible purchasing decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Handle all aspects of customer account orders, including order processing, product quotes and coordinating product sample requests, with our clients as well as our vendors.
  • Expand responsibilities by identifying and sourcing trending products to be able to fully support your clients.
  • Assist new and existing customers with inquires while providing consultative support and recommendations on promotional products.
  • Proactively communicate with existing customers to build and maintain the relationships and expand your book of business.
  • Leverage internally provided training and opportunities to meet with suppliers, such that you will be able to discuss products and help customers make promotional marketing decisions.
  • Coordinate orders with other departments including warehouse, fulfillment, production and accounting
  • Proactively make outbound phone calls to potential clients to introduce services, qualify leads, and schedule follow-up meetings.
  • Educate customers on sustainable product options, certifications, materials, and environmental impacts.
  • Help customers replace traditional promotional products with environmentally and socially responsible alternatives.
  • Stay informed on sustainability trends, certifications, regulations, and innovations within the promotional products industry.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Previous customer service or sales experience
  • Good communication skills
  • Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast-moving work environment
  • Average mathematical skills to accurately provide quotes and pricing
  • Be creative and up to speed on industry trends and new and trendy products
  • Must be motivated, driven and have the ambition to succeed
  • Have a positive, upbeat and team player attitude
  • Must have the ability to work independently
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • MS Office proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • BS/BA Degree preferred.
